Alyssa Harmon is an oil painter originally from Kansas City, Missouri. In her work, she unites abstract expressionism and the human figure to explore the impermanent, ever-shifting nature of memory. As a person with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, abstraction allows her to channel the fleeting, spontaneous nature of her thoughts and emotions, and her study of the human figure allows her to connect personal perspective with universal experiences such as love and loss. Alyssa will receive her Bachelors of Fine Arts from the University of Wisconsin River Falls in May of 2026.
When not painting, Alyssa can be found baking dessert, crying into a novel, or thrift shopping for absolutely inappropriate lengths of time.
