Personal Work
I enjoy reminiscing on memory. I can puzzle over memories until I they make sense; why certain ones stand out, why we do or don’t remember them, and how we get from past versions of ourselves to the present. Memories are an interesting starting point to figuring out who I am and who others are, and they help achieve a larger goal of mine: creating a sense of connection and community.

I am a graphic designer and mixed media digital artist. In my commercial work, I enjoy collaborating on projects that promote ethical practices and foster community in creative spaces. In my personal work, I reminisce on memory. I can puzzle over memories until I they make sense; why certain ones stand out, why we do or don’t remember them, and how we get from past versions of ourselves to the present. Memory is an interesting starting point to figuring out who I am and who others are, and they help achieve a larger goal of mine: creating a sense of connection and community.
In both practices, I enjoy the freedom to layer and experiment between digital and print and regularly rotate materials to keep my interest. Despite using a variety of materials, I always return to muted color palettes, clean lines, and a methodical art making process that begins with writing and research as a foundation for whatever I create.
When I’m not making art, you can find me planning road trips, reading, or at thrift stores!
