Meet the Artist
Hi! My name is Mia Hunter.
I am a photographer from St. Micheal Albertville, Minnesota. I specialize in Landscape photography and Portraiture photography.
Artist Statement:
My primary focus as an artist is on taking pictures of everything in nature. My interests include how color, texture and lighting interact with each other along with how the atmosphere creates a mood. I try to show the beauty of nature and its many unnoticed details; through each image I wish to evoke calm, a feeling of connectedness, peace, and encourage myself and others to be present within that moment. By observing light direction, composition, and natural forms, I attempt to produce still images that allow others to feel surrounded by nature. Each of these photographs contains not only the beautiful visual aspects found in nature, but every one also represents the simplicity or greater symbolism related to nature, as well as the comfort we can gain from spending time outside.
