Hi, I’m Eryn Crump. I’m a visual artist who’s always been drawn to the creative side of things—whether that’s through photography, design, or just noticing the little details most people overlook. I’ve always loved capturing moments and turning them into something meaningful. I’m curious by nature, constantly exploring new ideas, places, and techniques to keep my creativity growing.
Studying abroad was a huge turning point for me. It challenged me, inspired me, and gave me a deeper appreciation for different cultures and perspectives. That experience, along with the people I’ve met and the stories I’ve come across, continues to shape the way I see the world—and the way I create.
Outside of making art, I’m someone who values connection, kindness, and being present in the moment. I’m always up for a new adventure, and I believe the best creative work comes from being open—to change, to emotion, and to the unexpected.
Artist Statement
I’m a photographer who’s driven by storytelling. Every time I pick up my camera, my goal is to capture more than just a nice image—I want each photo to tell a story. Whether it’s through a portrait, a quiet moment, or the way light moves through a space, I try to create visuals that hold meaning and make people feel something.
I work mostly with natural light and pay a lot of attention to mood, color, and composition. I’m drawn to images that feel raw and emotional, and I like to bring a mix of vintage influence and modern energy into my work. Even the smallest details—like a glance, a shadow, or a burst of color—can carry a story if you’re paying attention.
For me, photography is about capturing those in-between moments, the ones that say something real about a person or a place. I want my photos to make people pause, reflect, and connect—like they’re stepping into a scene that’s still unfolding.
